Weihai (Weihainese: Wé4iHæ, [ʋeɪ̯˥˩ hɛ̆꜌]; Chinese: 威海; pinyin: Wēihǎi), formerly Weihaiwei (Chinese: 威海 卫; pinyin: Wēihǎiwèi; lit. 'Mighty Sea Fort'), is a prefecture-level city and major seaport city in the easternmost Shandong province of China.
